My 99 was running rich so I replaced the injectors in it, one was found to be cracked above the nozzle seal. I replaced with re-man car quest injectors. Truck ran fine for a day and now has a hard miss. The obd2 doesn’t want to communicate so I cannot see what cylinders. I checked for intake leaks, ohmed out my coils, as well as changing my plugs and wires. My only thought now is that the new injectors are no good. When reassembling I did clean my intake with brake clean instead of throttle body cleaner which I heard could damage the AFR sensor, could this potentially be my issue or is there something else I’m missing? Thank you!

What engine are you working on here?

MotorWest is pretty much the goto for injectors for the 3.4l. For the amount of work required to change those injectors out, I wouldn't use a re-man part. The 2.4/2.7l seem a little more forgiving, but I'd still suggest something from a quality supplier like lce performance or motorwest.

Truck has a 3.4. I’ve been looking at the MotoWest injectors just wanna make sure that is my problem before I swap injectors again.

That's fair. I would double check your work- particularly the grounds you would have had to remove when you did the injectors.

Only ground I remember taking off is the one on the right side to the intake, is there another? Maybe behind on the harness?

Yup that's one of them. There is another (that you probably didn't touch) on the back passenger side of the block from the main loom to the firewall, and another near the battery going to the drivers side fender.

I had checked continuity with the intake ground, it was good. I didn’t touch the firewall ground and it was tight. The ground to fender looks old but had good continuity as well. Should I not worry about brake clean in the intake messing with the AFR? I blew it out with air after I cleaned it.

For what it's worth, the resistance of an disconnected injector for a 5Z engine should be between 14 and 16 ohms.

I think you'd have to dump shit tons of it through there to fowl the AFR. Consider that people use (non-chlorinated) brake cleaner (not that they should, just that they don't know any better) all the time to test for vacuum leaks.
