Probably on the same vessel then! We are almost there. The vessel left Florida an hour ago and it set to arrive in Newark on Nov 30 19:00. So Thursday night!

Sweet! My truck is supposed to be on that same ship. Vesselfinder is a handy app if you want to track your Japanese truck on a Panamanian ship go from Mexico to New Jersey so it can get to a New Hampshire dealership who will deliver it to Massachusetts so I can drive it to South Carolina.

Yup, I just hope the Frontier Ace doesn't sit in the port at Newark for days and days waiting to be unloaded. Mine still has to get from Newark to the dealer in Epping, NH before I can take delivery.
I'm looking forward to the demise of the dealership model of business.
Soon we'll be able to order a vehicle online through Amazon and other E-tailers. I'm assuming that will speed up the process and lower costs considerably.

Following this thread closely, as I believe that my next Tacoma is on this vessel. I recall my sales consultant telling me something about Dec.1, and Dec. 15 (estimated arrival at dealership date). Sorry for being such a lurker but I'm learning a lot about this tracking activity for the first time here, much thanks and very well done to all contributors!

Check the paint carefully. There have been several cases of damage to the paint because of the plastic wrap being on so long.Mostly the hood and roof.

Mine was luckily flawless. Just a few stains from what I asssumed to be salt air spray from being by the ocean in Veracruz . After a couple of good washes with hot water it went away

I apologize if this has been covered already...I picked up a 23 that I was waiting for on Oct 20th. A couple weeks before that, I entered the vin number in the Toyota app and could watch the mileage, tire pressure etc change as it moved thru ports. (says something about my social life)...but if you are tracking ships at sea you might enjoy tracking when it is started to move off ship, onto truck etc. Very happy with the truck by the way...

As a data point mine was built 8/2 and at dealer 10/18 picked up 10/20 from a Southeast Mafia Dealer. (Port of Jacksonville). Dates probably don't help a west coaster or midwesterner predict timing.

@Timberpig, any chance you'd post a link to the Toyota app you mentioned? TIA :)

Making progress! The ship is in NJ and should be at the pier anytime between now and midnight.
Assuming they unload it tomorrow or over the weekend we should have our trucks next week.
