I agree with your above post , the lack of tow hooks on the Tundra is killing me though

It is a Toyota, it doesn’t need tow hooks! :p

Honestly, have been driving trucks for 40 years (since I was 10] rarely rarely needed tow hooks. Maybe winching, but if you stay out of the stupid shit, you don’t need them.

The only time I have used a truck's tow hooks was for the saftey chains when wheel lifting a truck from the front.

I live in Canada, people get stuck in the snow. When you need them you need them

They are also useful so your friends can tow you home when your engine seizes. :D
it’s strange how in a time where manufacturers emphasize their tow hooks in bright colors that the Tundra “lifestyle truck” gets none. Then the Tacoma gets extra unnecessary tow hooks in the rear right next to the trailer hitch. o_O

Anyone know if the Gen 4 turbo engine will be direct injected, port injected or both?

They’ll be part of some package that a lot of trucks will leave the factory with wether you want them or not.

Idaho here, get plenty of snow and ice. Have helped dumbasses out of ditches before. Use a shackle in my receiver hitch. Mostly because I don’t want the tow strap coming through my windshield if it slips or snaps.

It’s going to be big bucks if you want the nice things. I personally wouldn’t buy any new vehicle without heated seats and the big screen. I could care less about the moon roof and other upgrades though.

I could care less about those items either , hell I don't even care on heated seats living in Florida . I only want the nice screen but there is no way in hell I will fork up 9k to be able to have the screen!

Looking at the whole packages and pricing , staying put with my truck looks more enticing every day !. for 50k might as well buy a Tundra granted small screen too but way better power train and towing

Heated seats are a must now, steering wheel I can live without
I might go cloth as well next time instead of fake leather

FX4 Pkg (Shocks, Skid Plates, Elec Lock Rear Axle, Terrain Mgt Sys)
    Tow Pkg (Brake Controller)

Basically same stuff as a TRD OR with Upgrade
    Except 255/65/18 Tires (31.1")
    2.3 EcoBoost 270hp/310Tq, 20/24MPG but probably 19/23 with 32.6" tires

Nobody should be saying the '24 Tacoma pricing is too high.

They are all too expensive for little trucks.

According to this it could be its own package but who really knows at this point. I want the 14” screen but I don’t want to pay 9K for the package
