Set of Falken Wildpeak AT3's 285/75/r16 for $800 in Levittown PA. Seller claims 200 miles on them. If I hadn't just bought a set of new tires I would have been all over these.

I have. Having a hard time deciding between a 4x8 or a 5x10. Crazy how much they are new considering the basic stuff they’re made of and you don’t really have to be a nasa certified welder to build it. Glws.

Any recommendations on tire shops? Used to use Discount Tire on the west coast and looking to get some ko2’s or other a/t before winter.

I just used Mavis for the first time and it was great. The guy was looking to give me discounts however he could.

 

I get my tires shipped from discount tire or pick them up at the Tirerack distribution center in DE, then bring them to my local mom and pop to have them mounted. Tirerack is 5 mins from the Delaware memorial bridge, $100 discount for picking up, and no sales tax. Well worth the 35 min drive for me.

But whatever you do, don't let Mavis change your oil. They tightened the oil filter housing on my wife's Rav4 to the point it shattered when it came time to remove it at the next oil change.

 

If you're at McGuire I've got a garage nearby and all the tools.

I just moved into the Paramus area from the west coast. Anyone have any recommended shops for maintenance around here?

 

I haven't used them myself but a lot of people do and they all seem happy w/ the work. Never heard of a complaint or regret.
