The Falken website claims the LT265/75/16 size weighs only 51 pounds per tire.

Has anyone been able to confirm that?

That is suspiciously light for such an aggressive hybrid tire.

Just got a set of these installed the other day. So far so good. Went with 265/75 R16. They are a little loader than stock. As to be expected but not much. I probably only notice it because I was looking for it. As for weight i will say I don't notice any difference in daily driving however we will see once I hit some hills going into the mountains next weekend.
Overall pretty happy with the way it turned out. Was on the fence with going 265 75 or moving up to 285 75. In the end I really didn't want to deal with any possible rubbing or to much power loss.

Picked up a set of 285/75R17 load range C and immediately took them on a 1k mile trip to check out the eclipse. Super happy so far. I'm a bit concerned they're going to suck in the snow, but I'll find out soon enough.

Subscribed because of the 35/11.5/17 C rated version.

Currently running Nitto trail grapplers in the same size and casing. They are an awesome tire, but I spend more time on the road now…

Thank you! I agree, I had an idea but never saw them in person until today and was sold from first sight. They ride great and I don’t think they are any louder than my nitto’s were. But we will see. I’ll roll the windows down on the way to work tomorrow and listen.

How much trimming was required to clear them? I’m curious how much of a difference the 11.5” width makes.

No trimming was needed, I was previously running 35x12.50 so these are “skinnier” same size wheels 18x9 -12

I already have a CMC and with my 6” BDS lift 35’s are no problem

I really want to push up to 35's, debating if all the work is worth it or stay with 255/80's. Good to know they aren't loud, but my Runner won't be my DD anymore so not really too much of a concern.

looking at getting these for my 4Runner - does anyone know if there will be an issue going 285/75/16 on FJ Trail Team Wheels (16x7.5")?

    Any updates on them?

Get to test in snow yet?

I'm pretty bummed I JUST got my AT3W'S installed then immediately saw these.
My consultation is the fact that these atw3's are amazing so far. Only 2,500k miles on them so far but I'm very pleased.

Lots of snow driving at this point.

They do better than I would have guessed. Definitely better than any MT, and better than about half of the ATs I've tried.

Keep in mind, I would still consider that marginal snow performance overall, but you can get by.

Good to know thanks. Any experience with the at3w in snow? So far I'm happy with them but just curious for next time because these look a little more aggressive than the at3w. We don't get snow often here but we like to travel to the snow.
