Hot Wheels

Same thing around here. I think a lot of it had to do with the amount of auto shows, toy shows, and actual hot wheels shows around here. People are just buying all of it to sell for more.

 

Pretty much the same for me in southwestern Michigan

 

wheels aint bad but the color is way to sparkly... looks like a unicorn exploded on it....

 

Went to Dollar General and they have been literally empty of all hot wheels and matchbox cars....not even the orange tracks. I've checked several times last month or so....well last night I saw it was empty again. I looked on the carts and saw two small boxes of Matchbox and one box of Hot Wheels. so I was that guy who grabbed them and opened. Nothing really inside as they were older cases/bx's. But grabbed a few....then went to Target which is next door and grabbed a few there as well.

Negative....I was hoping I'd find something unique but just regulars cars which I was happy just to crack open a new case.

Each case has a TH... there's no rhyme or reason the STH distribution though

I should have just looked at my own STH and i would have realized the difference.

 

It must have been the BMW bike...I believe I saw that...but already have so passed on it.

I only have 5 STHs in my entire collection.. all of them found on stores.

 

Grabbed this pair at Target yesterday.

 

I have a few TH, but no STH. Wish I had the TH vw bug but it came out awhile ago and the only way to get it now is at a show or on eBay. Green with purple wheels. I don’t remember who but someone on here has it!

Just so you're aware.. there is currently a red VW bug that's a TH.. haven't seen one yet but of I do it's yours

 

Yeah I had that first one on my watch list. Second one I have on my watch list now along with some others. That one will climb higher but probably not to much. The price tag right in the middle is what’s going to keep the price down on that one.

 

If you mean the Baja bug, yes I’m aware of it. Haven’t seen it other than online. I’ll gladly trade you or anyone else that finds it for a car that I have. If not the Baja then no I’m not aware.

It was an anti-rust zinc paint I was afraid to clear coat it, it’s “textured”. Tried to make it look Japanese style van with the tinted windows.
