I don't drink but I did smoke until I was told by my doctor while I visited his office for my coughing, that I had two choices, quit smoking or die
We had a mechanic that was an alcoholic. One morning, he didn't come to work, we found out his apartment caught on fire when he was drunk on the night before; the cooking oil started the fire while he's preparing his dinner and he didn't made it out.

 

I did that once when I lived with my parents. I put some romen noodles on the stove and passed out. Luckily the smoke woke my mom up and she took care of it. Had my dad whooped my hind end like he did when I was younger I may have quit drinking sooner but he didn't say a word about it.

 

Found the problem with the bearings, didn’t have any grease in them.

 

To be fair, it does say "A day without Art", not "A day without Arts".

I should have taken a picture of the other 6 pictures that were covered, then. That one was the only one I walked past that wasn't covered.

 

If I were an Amazon delivery driver, I could work from home.
Why? My wife's Amazon orders are enough to keep a truck busy.

 

My said she wasn’t going to order any more stuff to be delivered, but she also didn’t say she would order any less either.

My sister was a delivery driver for one of the major services. Not drinking was a struggle and she white knuckled it into the holiday season. She was maintaining until a customer gave her a bottle for Christmas. Another customer called into the 800 number to report her being drunk later in her route…

She said she was at the end of her route so they couldn’t get a replacement driver out in time. Fired right on the spot when she got back. I think she had about 12-13 years with them at the time.

She’s lucky she never killed herself or anyone else.

I have nothing but respect for anyone who struggles with addiction/alcoholism. It truly is a disease.

I have to teach a class to about 20 engineer/Tech Sales/Inside Tech Support/Service Tech (a few from many departments) so they can then go back and spread the word on neigh on new product development. Once that is done? I will be like radar cruise for the rest of the day...stay my distance, go a speed and end up at my final destination.

Had to get a filling redone yesterday at a new dentist, I didn’t know they came in left handed models. It was weird having him sit on my left side.

 

Feeling better today, still tired as all get out...but that's just adulting right?

Finishing up a full cab kit and heater install today, then it's a full service and brakes on another offroad unit.


These cab heaters are.. eh at best

 

That seems to be how this world is running by!
