maybe if those who think it is okay to not register their vehicle would do so the State would have additional cash to fix our shit roads. Can't go anywhere without seeing these leaches and the law(s) to fix the issue are a joke.

 

More office equipment failure.
Business laptop just fried the hard drive, or at least some chip associated with it. Shitbooks is on there and I really need it.
Tech guy says he has a 70-80% chance of recovering it, no charge if he can't. Sounded like he was up for the challenge, mentioned soldering a new chip in place. Said laptop as a whole was not worth repairing due to age. It has been struggling lately. Printer works good though.
Lucky for me, i do back that shit up to an external drive. But pretty sure it was a year ago when it was done last...There has been some changes during that time...
Otherwise, I'd just recover from that and move on. Might be doing that anyway. Then spend a weekend unfucking it.

Quick books won’t run on a Chromebook. Old Brett would be stuck using Quickbooks ONLINE, which the dinosaur accountant probably can’t use.

 

I got no time for literacy.
I have another laptop, hard drive was upgraded to solid state a few weeks ago and was going to be used for something else. It's basically brand new, nothing on it but some video editing apps.
Now it's perched on my desk with the latest edition of shitbooks freshly loaded, waiting for a business file to to be imported/recovered.

 

Maybe you should put more effort into your OnlyFans business and give up the other one that requires printed invoices.

 

Pro tip. Just plug your external hard drive into your laptop and store everything on it instead of maybe/maybe not remembering to backup the comp every ~1 years. That's what I've done on the same drive for about 10 years. Can plug it into whatever tf comp I want and keep on rollin.

 

I did not know that was a thing. It is actually plugged in all the time.
