Those are for the YouTubers. I think most people would rather have a measly 400 HP with more range and less cost.

Yep. That’s about it. Makes the angles look so odd. I do like WCP though as a color.

Lol that was good, didn't expect the ending.

If I was loaded with money I would still take the Porsche all day every day though over that terrible looking truck

People complaining about pricing need to get ready.

Every year toyota will take something from the upgrade pkg and make it standard on the TRD models, but dont worry the upgrade package will keep costing more and include less additional features.

For a second, I thought you were going to say something about dealer shenanigans. Instead you just stuck with obvious manufacturer shenanigans that are already published.

That's the total torque at the wheels after it's multiplied by the axle gear ratios. Hummer started the total torque at the wheels bs so Tesla had to follow suit.

It would be a cool prank someday to sneak underneath someone’s MAX and reverse the polarity of their electric driveline motor.

That is going to great sitting in bumper to bumper commuter traffic!

Love how manufacturers showcase drag race and 0-60 times.

While they’ll mostly be doing this…

I really like the 4G Tacoma. Pricing, while high for top trims, is competitive with others across the range. They are simply responding to the market demand, more people choose to spend more money on high-feature trucks. If they are wrong inventory will build, prices will drop and Toyota will change the mix. I don’t think they have it wrong.

For those that want full size capability, comfort and more towing go for full size. Here I personally don’t find the Tundra competitive. If I wanted another full size I would go for a used Raptor or a new F150 with a V8 before a Tundra. I just had a 2023 Limited Tundra as a rental for a week long business trip. meh.

I have a ‘save a place in line’ deposit on the 250 seriesLC If that doesn’t pan out I’ll look hard at the Tacoma. If that doesn’t work then who knows, maybe get that used Raptor for a couple of years.

My neighbor has a new AEV AT4X GMC, holy cow that thing is sweet. Having owned GMs I have had better luck with my Toyotas and, for trucks, Fords.

I’m looking forward to B&P to see what it’s looking like price wise.

My issue with the pricing is they took standard features from the higher trims and moved them to parts of an upgrade package, forcing you to spend a lot more for a comparably equipped truck. So they end up charging a premium on top of an already premium price.

If I can separately order a rear power slider on an SR, I will rescind this comment. If it is able to be ordered as an add on to a TRD level truck, it should be able to be ordered on any level truck. I am aware Toyota has a weird history with certain features not being available with certain packages. Ford ordering process has a clear upper hand in this regard.

    Capitalism for the win.

Toyota takes their best assessment to maximize market share, factory utilization and profit, chooses a mix/feature set and we, the consumer get to choose - Buy, don’t buy.

Either action drives them to adjust their next plan accordingly.

If their price is wrong, they won’t get the share or full factory they desire and they will change it.

Until then the only protest choice is ‘don’t buy’. In that case the answer is wait or buy the competition or go used.

Again, from the mix of trucks sold in my local area, the demand for low-trim trucks seems pretty limited. This seems to be true across all makes and sizes.
