Hey guys , My taco saved the night!! It was raining tonight and we had some friends over for a BBQ when the power went out:mad:! I have a indoor BBQ in my billards room, game room for those rainy days that has a 1000cfm exhaust fan to keep the smoke out of the house. Well, power out = smoked out house, no exhaust fan. My wife was looking for candles while I was looking for extension cords. They were all wondering what I was doing with the extension cords with the power out. I pulled the truck around plugged in a splitter to the bed outlet and ran a cord to the kithcen and one to the game room. Got a fan plugged in 1st to exhaust the smoke, then a light so they can play pool, and one in the kitcken to serve dinner and eat. Im trying to make those asada tacos w/ cilantro, onions and guacamole like they do south of the border. I love those things!! I saw our friend go over to the bed of his Frontier to see if he had the 120v in the bed. Nope. Anyway my taco saved what could have been a disaster into a fun evening, and another jealous Frontier owner. Power was out for 2hrs and 45 min. I ran power w/out engine running for 2 hrs and idle for the last 45min. These trucks are bad a$$!! Have a good one, Dave

yet another story to make me wish i had the TRD OR package...... We've got a little Honda EU2000 generator for camping that we could use at my house if this woulda been my party though. Way to make a Frontier owner jealous!

Another Great Story! Dude that was awesome. Kinda wish I was there eating with you. Made me kinda hungry. Perhaps I should drive down to the border... it's only 15 min away. Hmmm, maybe not.

Dude, that's awesome. We could turn the power off and try to relive the moment (only with 2 outlets). Haha. I used to live in Clairemont as well. Right off of Genesee by Balboa. In the Otay Ranch area of Chula Vista. Maybe I could bring the Salsa Fresca. Hmmm.

We almost purchased one of those some years back. We could have been neighbors. I know exactly where that is. I'm calling it...Corona or Dos XX? LOL.
