think I just need to dig out the build book for the train. i know there was an optional build and a part number she says she cant seem to find on the lego website anymore.

 

This is the current train motor option, and theres a few different power packs available. I believe this is the cheapest:

That'd make sense! They're spendy when you're buying it out of a set, $87 for the three pieces, makes the $200 or so for the passenger or freight train sets look a lot better.

Also, I know i've posted about it before, but Paypals "Honey" extension keeps getting big deals on the Lego store.



Each of those two sets has an almost $40 cashback offer on it. Spends anywhere you can use paypal.

So.. $200 set - $40 cash back - $87 motor/remote value = $73 lego set, what a value, I can justify anything haha!

Edit: just kidding, those are backordered, too. Sheesh those motors really are tough to get.

 

Ok, so I got the calendar.




It's only day 1 and we are already invading other sets.

 

Apparently B&N wasn't selling much Lego on Black Friday. Store manager said they were giving away this set with any Lego purchase now.

So I grabbed the monkey creative set as a stocking stuffer at 9.99 and they gave me the free gift.

Went to Barnes and Noble for the GWP, the set I wanted to get to meet the $75 minimum was not there, website said it was. Manager was nice enough to let me get it with a purchase <$75.

It’s a cool little set.

I’m going to buy a couple of those space sets. They look pretty awesome.

 

The truck and helicopter one is high on my list. It reminders me of the old model team set.

 

Well got this together for the Christmas/holiday season. Need to go out and drag out the Christmas village stuff and see where we are at

 

This wave of 3-in-1 looks pretty solid. I really like the truck and helicopter for the same reasons, looks like an homage to Model Team 5571. I also like the giraffe. She wants the dragon and camera.
