My neighbors have extended family or friend living in an airstream parked on the street out front of their house.... The temp tag on the trailer expired October 2022. Yesterday was street sweeping day and they didn't move the trailer. This morning I saw they had a ticket wedged in the hitch, so I bet they got a double whammy.

I don't like the meter maids in Denver, but I'm not upset about that ticket.

Also, these folks could probably afford their registration if they could afford a ~70k+ trailer and starlink antenna/plan

Unfortunately, the registration fees don't actually go to the roads. If they did, we would have blacktop superior to that of Wyoming for as much as we pay now, even with the non-conformists.
That entire state has a total population slightly bigger than Fort Collins and has the nicest highways in the country.

Its such a weird experience. Shooting air right into your eye and then the drops that make you go blind fo 5-10 mins. Have fun! I know my wife enjoyed watching me crash into things at costco while waiting for it to wear off

There is a better way. An eye doc I used to visit (sadly, in another state) had a camera/computer setup that could photograph the inside of your eye without pupil dilation. It was part of the standard exam there, no extra charge. I've heard of some placed here that have it but treat it as an upsell ($40 if you don't want to be temporarily blind).

Can't say I'm a fan of treating it as an upsell, but apart from that, would recommend...

I have to admit I have been trolling the hell out of everyone with that printer thing. :D
For the record, an entire year of my printed paperwork, combined with receipts, bills, packing lists, staples and paper clips, plus the 12 manilla folders that are thick on there own, stacks up to around this high. Notice it's measured from the corner that's thickest.
A pack of 500 sheets last two years plus.
My former employer would print off a stack larger than that and kill a small forest for one job.

This is after 14 years of business, the plastic thing in the back goes to the floor and does not contain any business stuff. I don't think my printing is at all above the normal for a small business.

Tuned and regeared is the real winner. As mentioned elsewhere, regear doesn't fix the trans programming.

The eye doc in Broomfield I used to go to charged $30 for the camera process. Well worth it to be able to drive home on my own after the appt.

There's an eye doc in Boulder near Ideal Market (accross the street, can't be arsed to look it up) that also does that. I think it was also a 30 dollar upsell but worth it for me to immediately start driving up a winding canyon road.

$39 upsell at mine. What's nice is if there's any reason to compare year-to-year, they have the pics right there and can put them side-by-side, etc. And, not getting dilated is nice, too.

Heater igniter went out this morning..... perfect timing as always. New part gets here Tuesday so I guess it's a home depot run for small space heaters to keep the places that need the heat warm. Happy snowy Saturday
