I’m considering this setup with stock suspension.
Can you share more on the rubbing you’re seeing? You said flares, how about the mud flaps and has it been necessary to trim at all?

Sorry I misspoke, it's the mud flaps not flares. I ended up tightening the screw that is most inward on the flap and it helped considerably. There is still rubbing from time to time at full lock, but not every turn.

These look really good! I’m wondering if a guy could pull this off with Barcelona red?

I’m considering these, I love the look. Haven’t looked to see if there are other retro alloys.

Anyone have any gripes, they easy to keep clean? I saw some folks have sold them but not many.

I was set on method 701 with the bead grip technology which seems like a good thing for airing down.

    Thanks!

I've only had mine on for a little over a month, but they are for sure keepers. They are super easy to keep clean (so far) Without all the cutouts and holes that most wheels have, you can just wipe them down.
The only downside I have, is my wife thinks they are hideous. She said they look like the wheels that spare donut tires come on. :D Pretty funny, and I guess technically true, but I love them none the less!

@BraskaTaco and anyone else who's running these in 17", am I right in assuming the part number is AHDAB-78569-00? And currently running (/need?) a lift at all w/ 265/70/17 Ko2’s?

Here’s how the 16s look on an Army Green AC. All stock. Winter set with 245/75 Grabber Arctic LT snows.

Ordered through Valiants Racing in Savannah GA. Always a great experience with them. Fifteen52 provided some good customer service on a few details. Happy with them.

They clean up easy. I wiped them down with some hybrid ceramic spray when mounting. Makes keeping them clean even easier.

Good quality wheels and exactly the fitment I was going for.

One more question for ya... did you order a set of black lugs from them? And assuming the black center cap comes with the wheels?

Same here, I ordered black lugs. I accidentally ordered non ET (extended thread) ones but in the end they worked fine. They do recommend ET though so I’d choose those if you can.

Well, one example is that they answered questions over the phone and provided technical details I requested…

Also helped by providing info on the coating they use on the black ones. It’s a combo of paint and powder coat if anyone is interested.

The shop I had mount them scratched them up pretty good, so I was making efforts to touch them up. They provided some info to help for matching.

Only product I wasn’t happy with was their lug nuts due to how they shipped them. They just throw them in a ziplock bag, then throw that in an envelope. The coating was flaking off of all of them when I received them and they were dinged up pretty good. Better packaging would have prevented that.

Meant to include this in my original post, but forgot. Wanted to thank @Discount Tire for setting me up with a set of 17s they had. Were going to give me a good deal, but in the end 16s were going to work better for my application. Will give them a shout next time I’m looking.

My only negative feedback is the black coating itself on my set. A couple wheels have a small number of paint chips exposing bare metal alloy underneath, but they don’t appear to be scratches or due to curb or rock rash. I can’t say my black Method’s ever had that issue in the 5 or so years I ran them. I installed these in February of this year.

Not a big issue at all since they’re usually covered in dirt :)
