no, i have not been there but i don't think they allow bikes either. We stick to West Hill Dam, Vietnam in Milford, the SNETT or Goat Hill. West Hill gets groomed, the others do not but we haven't gotten enough snow lately for that to have been an issue.

Noticed my Fox 38 on my new used bike seem to get a bit harsher, and then noticed it sucked down when I let the air out. Damn fox and using waaay too much grease.

    Yeah.
Several bikes ago my new one had the new top-of-the-line Fox fork. Rode it for a few months but could never get the air pressure right and thought the fork just sucked or I just had no idea what a good fork felt like. Turned out that they put all the oil for the lower in the air chamber. It was actually a good fork after a proper rebuild.

    Every. Goddam. Time.
Always check the air seal and do a lowers service in a new Fox fork. Too much grease on the air piston, too little oil in the lowers. Baffling how they get away with this.

That Santa Cruz sale was just tooooo tempting. :spending:
If you’re in the market, check it out.

I just picked up my dream mountain bike, and I’m a hard tail guy, so the Treck Stache 7 is all I’ll ever need!

Ridden by previous owner for not even a hundred miles, bike is matte black with the oil slick graphics and was still show room blinging when I picked it up from the owner for a fraction of the retail cost.
Already getting her dirty and breaking her in right:thumbsup:

I recognize most of those trails. Looks like Dirty Little Secret and Mind the Gap. I still haven't worked up to the half pipe on Dirty Little Secret, goals for next year. I started exploring there last night and found some big hucks I didn't know existed. It still amazes me the shit people will ride a bike off of. I couldn't even walk my ass around the feature! That place is my favorite place to ride around here, just a lot of fun trails.

I love to see trails that showcase the local topography. It just gives it a local flavor. Getting a bit disheartened at the current tidal wave of flow trails being built here in the South East.

That trail network is pretty cool. It’s owned by NEMBA and there’s something for everyone. You can get some pedally miles in, big features, gaps, tech. It beats you up a bit, they’re not groomed trails and there’s a lot of undulating terrain, but it’s a lot of fun!

I've never ridden in the winter but i have a couple friends with fat bikes and they love it. So I've been doing my research and may end up biting the bullet soon. I may end up with one of these Borealis bikes.

That's what the xc ski place rents out. I didn't realize they were that cheap. I believe the guy that started borealis also started Revel bikes

You should have picked up a Fezzari King Peak during the Black Friday sale!

I was also looking hard at a Canyon Dude.

    Yeah.
Loved my Stache, such a fun bike to ride. I'm getting older and found myself always grabbing the FS for comfort. I felt sorry for it, so I sold it :(

Just picked up a set of Ibis Send wheels for $200 locally! They’ll go on the Stumpjumper for the sale so I get to keep my carbon wheels.

Also, got talked into signing up for a gravel race. It will be my first time doing anything of the sort. Sounds like fun, it’s 45 miles in CT in March so Mother Nature could be a very big factor.

I wouldn't say you were talked into it - just presented an option and willingly walked through the door.
