The half marinara half BBQ sauce is how I do my BBQ pizza's, I find it helps to cut down on the sweetness and adds another flavor profile that works well to the pie.

I hadn't done it before but the two married together fantastically.

I started doing it years ago, we used to do a bunch of smoked pizzas and BBQ is one of those. Told my friend I was going to do it to help cut down on the sweetness (especially as the BBQ cooks down). We all loved it so it's how we have done those for years now. I figured worst that would happen is it sucks and I don't do it again lol

Thanks! I just joined the forum a few days ago in order to research a Prerunner I'm looking at, with which I am not real familiar. But I do know pizza!

So a buddy of mine came over the other night for pizza. He requested "everything" on his personal pizza! OK, here ya go. Artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives, jalapenos, slivered garlic, onions, caramelized fresh pineapple, mozzarella, parmesan, tomato sauce from home-grown tomatoes.

I know this goes back a few months, but I wonder if there's a trick to getting the pepperoni to stay flat? Not a big deal, but when I made mine tonight they were sort of 'cupped', not flat. How long and at what temperature was this one cooked at?

Yours looks like it was done by a pro!

I don't have a trick, I'd actually like to know how to make the cups. I like the grease bowls they make :anonymous:

I cook all my pizzas at 450° for 10-12 minutes. Thanks for the compliment

Yes the pepperoni was good - I like it both ways I guess. Grease bowls are good, and I like when it's flat and some grease is dispersed into the pizza. I cooked mine at the same temperature, but a little longer. That may account for the cups.

You're welcome, I really enjoy seeing and reading about the pizzas here!

Great crust on Home Run Inn, buttery deliciousness and the sausage is probably the best of any frozen pizza in my opinion. Sauce and cheese are just okay. I grew up on them though so still love’em.

Winn Dixie used to have a pizza called Danos,I would do anything for those again. Spicy sauce, great crust and good cheese

Giovanni’s, Cicis, and a now defunct place called Delanos we’re my favorite “fresh” pizza places

The crust on my latest one didn't seem cooked as it should be, or usually is. That and the pepperoni being slightly overcooked made me realize I should have moved the rack for the pizza to the bottom. Another recent recipe called for it being in the middle. Next time I'll use the lower rack.

That Home Run Inn pizza looks great for a frozen pizza.
