If FSU wins, are they out anyway at this point?

 

No they aren’t, they will be undefeated.

 

How can they pick a 1-loss team over an undefeated team from a major conference.

 

Imagine not realizing the meaning of this game when the winner gets in and the loser misses the playoff. Then imagine going into this game going “man, doesn’t matter who wins, they’re both in the playoffs.” That sounds like so much fun.

 

If Michigan and Florida St win they are in with Washington. It’s the 4th team that will be controversial; Texas, Alabama, or Georgia?

 

Just as long as Michigan doesn’t win the whole damn thing I’m OK. bunch of cheaters

 

Because the committee has said “most deserving isn’t in our lexicon. It’s the 4 best teams.” And most of the talking heads don’t seem to think FSU is one of the 4 best teams without Jordan Travis.

No way they take a team out based on the ‘expected’ difference of an injured player. Also they would be 2-0 with the new starter.

The committee is likely pumped to go to 12 next year. No matter what the size there is controversy (even the last team in and out of the 68 team basketball tournament gets scrutinized). But at least all the major conference undefeated and 1-loss teams will be in.

So next year with 12 teams, 4 get a first round bye. They should make the now 4 major conference champs automatic byes, that way the conference championship games mean more.

 

Try telling the players that when that is the case.
