    Four.

Two out of four aren't attracted to men.

The last one has a boyfriend.

    Quite the group.

In my youth there always seemed to be someones car disassembled in the driveway.

We would put newspapers on the kitchen table and rebuild carburetors, dry parts in the oven, etc.
My mother never said a word against it, she just fed whoever showed up.

    Looking back as an adult:
    1) She knew where I was
    2) She knew who I was with
    3) She knew what we were doing

    ;)

He's 19. These 24 year olds going to clubs and whatnot wouldn't even consider him.

Which, as far as I'm concerned, is for the best anyway.

We'd already been having some issues with the dryer but it's been doing alright so we've let it slide. I washed and dried 8 loads of laundry yesterday. Starting up the washer this morning for one last load of the week, she's dead.

A new set has been ordered. Tentative delivery date is Thursday, which sounds rather quick, but I'm not complaining.

I wish the best for you. And (I hate to say this), I'd recommend an extended warranty.

We got a new washine machine about 3 weeks ago, it lasted 6 days. 6.
Without the extended warranty I think we would've been :censored:'d. Lowes brought us another one. I told my wife that since we have the (5 year) warranty, if this machine so much as bats an eye at us in the next 5 years....Lowes can come get it. If we go thru 15 machines....dont even care.

Its embarrassing how crappy stuff is now, and its like its expected and accepted. When I went to Lowes and told the gal that our 6 day old machine stopped running, she laughed and said "that sounds about right".
    o_O

Anyhow, not to be a Debbie Downer....good luck!!!

Appliances have become a throw away item, just like everything else. Unfortunately.

I finally convinced my wife, after many high tech washer/dryer failures, to go with the simplest machines out there. A few years ago we got models with dials and mechanical buzzers. Works like a chanp.

We always go cheap on appliances (and pretty much everything else :anonymous:) but it doesnt seem to matter, I guess everything is junk. Except tv's, never hear of a $300 tv going bad. o_O
Our fridge and dishwasher are both 25+ years, they're both still purring along.

It’s amazing how cheap tv’s have gotten. We bought a 55” for less than $300 recently.
