Well...I don't plan on going too crazy but it's an easy fix, so I'll probably fab something up.

Installed a fiberglass insulation mat under the hood to hopefully help cut down on some engine noise and insulate a little more

Yep, it's interesting seeing just how much they bow outwards (and open up between the tailgate) when you put weight on top from members that have bought some.

Has nothing to do with the tailgate being down.

You want to insulate while I want to ventilate.

I pretty much only got it for the sound deadening properties. I don't need the added insulation where I live, but can't have one without the other

Seems a bit quieter when I'm not in boost just cruising around town.

IMG_1445.jpgFinished friend’s frame swap, all that’s left is the nerf bars, front bumper and grill. Overall took a bit longer than I thought, but hard to get a lot done working 5-6 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Good practice too, I’ve got a replacement cab and bed sitting beside my garage and an engine on the stand waiting

Finished up the front diff restoration project. Wire wheeled the rust and painted with Eastwood rust encapsulator then chassis black. I had to weld a hex key socket into the drain plug to break it free. Just waiting on the Lexus plugs to come in now.

Nice, I welded a nut for the same reason.

You can swap it out for the lexus one which has basically a nut on it instead of the allen head. Toyota 90341-24016

You are correct. It's an ARE commercial cap. I think it came from a 2015 Chevy Coloado. It was mounted by the previous owner... he got creative to make it work. The bed rails were raised by bolting on 4x4 deck posts, and a couple inches were cut off the bottom of the back doors to clear the bumper.

Looks like a great fit. What year? Did you have to modify to fit?
