Anyone else waiting for their Tacoma to arrive?

Does anyone know where to get cigars with wrappers that say “It’s a Truck” on them.

When and if my 2023 ever arrives I think I might just garage it for a year.
If the 2024s turn out to be disappointing maybe an undriven 2023 will become valuable.

 

With the way things are going, I may stil be waiting for mine.

 

Got another update today...slight delay potentially in the truck delivery. Delivery date went from Dec 11th the latest to potentially the 23rd..assuming the holidays and lack of trucks is probably the reason... only can speculate. Probably going to be January before this truck is officially mine.

 

I just called my sales guy and I asked him if they could call the transport company and get an actual date, rather than a range of possible dates.
He simply responded with the same Dealer Daily screen info.
Unfortunately, I can't wait until January. I'm spending January through March in South Carolina, and I'm not driving back up to New Hampshire if and when the thing ever comes in.
It looks like my potential Tacoma ownership is about over. I'll wait one more week, but no longer.
Bad news for me, but good news is that in January there will be a TRD Sport with a 6 foot bed available for someone if they're in the market for one.

 

Have you guys check the tool on Toyotas website that tells you what's available? Most dealer have Tacomas in stock right now so maybe you can find something similar?

 

Not Tacoma related but my buddy just got this pic after waiting for 3 months for his new Ram 2500 Cummins. Made them order him a new truck. I would not be happy too on a $86k truck.

 

Hate to hear that man, hopefully it comes this week or next. I hope it doesn't reach to January mostly if you're taking it same day. But yeah this sucks.

 

All around me seem to be in transit still. Nothing on the lots.

 

Ya that's ridiculous, I'm going to do a thorough walkthrough when it finally comes in. I'm not buying it if it's damaged in any way.

 

Well guys, it’s with great sadness that I have to leave this thread…..that’s right! My truck has arrived.
Not the first choice of colors, but damn..these trucks look nice.

Thanks Tacoguy. My first choice was Luner Rock because I test drove one of that color and liked it, but this one was my second choice and available with my spec sooner.

I ordered my "selection" and they told me 1-2months...and then called me one day to say "Your truck is here..."
Apparently there were a lot of trucks holding up transpo across the Mexican border in solidarity with the UAW strike...
SO A LOT of trucks are moving now...You all keep your fingers crossed...MY beaut was a nice surprise.....28+ days early...

 

Some of us know they're in New York now, just waiting on a truck to get them to the dealer. Hoping it's very soon. I was initially told mid-November.

 

@10taco @Wicked_Cool_Name seems like we all are delayed waiting for trucks in the north east area, did either of you get anymore updates? From what I see on dealer websites a lot of trucks have estimated deliveries 12/6 or 12/12 or 12/26

 

My sales consultant advised me that mid December was his estimated arrival at dealership date, with availability shortly thereafter I presume. I awaiting a callback, hopefully this afternoon, maybe there will be more info then.

I've looked at the dealership's website today and there's lots of Tacomas listed that I was told two months ago were unavailable ('23s with 2.7L engine) but who knows, really. If I end up with a '23 I'll take it but I don't think I'd be buying a '24 at this point. I would like to get a new truck 'home' before there's any appreciable snow!

 

So I had a chance to speak with my sales consultant by phone and it was productive; I got my VIN & build date (10/26/23), was now able to see the options list (looks like door sill protectors & all-weather floor mats were added/installed post-production, possibly at one of the ports). He confirmed the mid-December estimated delivery so I'm pretty psyched to be almost there with this acquisition! MGM SR5 4X4 DC V6 AT SB SX pkg.
