IMG_5488.jpg So apparently I pulled into my garage at a funky angle, most likely to avoid all the junk in it, so when I backed out I didn't realize it right up until I heard the sickening crunch of the side mirror getting creamed:censored:
So after the chest pains and nausea subsided I began the search for a replacement.
And that has turned right into a CFCJ! I started with the most reliable for getting the "hard" to get carparts.com big fail all they had were the Kool-vue. eBay, Amazon etc same. And none had power nor even offered manual in chrome. And btws mine are power.

So here I am.... asking my fellow Taco lovers if y'all have any other suggestions on where to look, aside from pick-a-part or junk yard.
    For clarity '95 taco SR5 4x4

    OUCHY.

u to see exactly what you need....mirrors are so model specific
    chrome or paint to match
    pre-runner or base
    power or manual
(and for late model fords, its impossible bc of signal/heated/camera/tow package/etc
give vin# to Toyota parts dept

then search for that specific part# on internets

I can tell you finding chrome limited mirror will be hard and expensive.

    Gtoy……where in TX are you?

if you cannot source a chrome mirror

possible solution would be to source a pair of mirrors and paint

    praying you can find!!!

Bc of work (Houston) I have connections to legitimate bodyshops in major metro areas Dallas/austin…..even Laredo

now will not be free, but will get honest quote and not get gouged

I'm gonna answer this one before I answer the first...
I'm in Houston. It's a big enough city I know I can find one it's the fact that I really really don't wanna go traipsing through fn junk yards looking for it and having to deal with the knuckle draggin apes that run them.
They really don't like it when this "little girly" tells them where she's gonna shove the nearest tailpipe if they call me that one more time:D

Piggybacking off this to see if anyone knows how hard it would be to add power mirrors to a '99 that didn't come with any? I have power windows so my armrest has the cutout with a blank for the switch, and the door has a whole for wires to pass through where the mirror bolts on, but how hard is it to add whatever brain box controls the mirrors? And will the bigger mirrors from the 01+ bolt on to the trucks with small mirrors?

Oh trust CC I do! I've spent %99 of my working career either in warehouses or male dominated fields cause women are just entirely too much damn drama! So I can definitely handle myself around these chauvinistic pricks:D

Sounds like it's already set up with the capability. I would just get the wiring diagram and see where it would plug into, my best guess would be it's attached to the same one as the windows/doors. Good luck!

Did just a bit of digging and found this. Hope it helps.
Well if I can figure out how the hell to attach the damn thing:mad:
Well wasn't THAT just a giant pain in my ass!
I really hope it helps ya buddy:D
