    Eric,

I saw your comment in MD thread where you mention the status of your wheels/tires...lol!

I feel you...I'm the same way. It's that "Motivation Factor" that determines outcome. :D:D

    Gmorning Delaware + Tri-State Area.

Time to prep the pork roast, set up some Christmas decorations and get ready for some football.

Local game I'm looking forward to is the Niners at Eagles at 4:25pm.

I'm a west coast guy and enjoy watching match-ups like this. (Rematch of NFC Championship)

Early games to watch is the LACs/NE & AZ/PIT.

It's wet and cloudy outside so enjoy the day!

    Hi, everyone

From Sussex County here. Trying to make some taco friends, do we have a social media group by chance?

    Thank you

Welcome to TW, Ken. There is a TW fb group but I’m not sure if it’s really affiliated with this web page.

There are some random pages on FB that might interest you,

That’s a beautiful truck you have! I like the clean look a lot.

I spent a lot of time in Sussex County in my younger years but I’m in Maryland with @hyrule_trd. We have a pretty active MD thread here as well.

    Welcome Ken and nice truck!

I'm in Kent County but I do spend a lot of time in Sussex County during the summer months! :)

Keeping contact with other DE owners only on this Forum is my method.

good evening TW and welcome @kenvincent19.spruce! what part of sussex? i grew up in harrington but know sussex like the back of my hand!

today i decided to do a grille delete!
    upload_2023-12-4_21-28-47.jpg
nah i just stayed late at work to finish the install on my winch and install my 20” rough country light bar
the winch is pretty much complete, but i’m at a stopping point before a total install so i can still take the bumper off one last time… the brackets for the light bar that it came with are too high, and it won’t fit correctly. so i had to completely reassemble everything (way easier said than done time wise) then try again when i find either brackets that came with my bumper (who knows where that is) or order some somehow.. bummer because i was really looking forward to it today!

I ordered 2 versions of the power adapter (Not on purpose) for my Garmin mini dashcam so, I'll have a spare one if anyone is interested.

yup, these were the ones that came with the bumper, easier finding these than making my own even though i could do that, this one was free!

    Good morning Delaware/Tri-State Area.

After that Friday thread yesterday, the rest of the evening was spent with my wife:

PetCo trip for kitty litter refill
    Partial grocery shopping for produce
Out for dinner/hang out at local watering hole

It was an early night for both of us.

What is on your plans for today?

Going to run a few errands then watch the Army Navy game.

Might go test drive a grand Highlander and make sure it’ll fit in the garage.

Might also try and do nothing all day…

I saw your reply about how expensive the 4th Gen is...that is crazy!

I've been a long-term vehicle owner ever since I started driving. (When I buy new)

The one time I did trade-in one of my vehicles was to get an automatic...since my wife could not drive stick-shift.

Her current vehicle (2017 Elantra) is paid off and has less than 50K miles.

I've got 2.5 years until my Sport is paid off.

We have the best of both worlds in the vehicles we own--sedan & truck.

Wife is going to MD today with a friend to watch another friend sing in a choir.

I'm staying home waiting for our youngest to arrive and then going to dinner. (She works today until 5pm)

Sounds like a pretty good day as well, enjoy it.

If my wife keeps her Rogue for much longer I’m going to have to change the cvt fluid and antifreeze. Neither have been done yet and her car is a 2015 but only about 50k miles on there as well.
I’ve done the break fluid flush a few times myself but I’m just not looking forward the the other two things. It looks really easy on the rogue, but the fluids are kind of pricey.

I changed the rear fluid on previous vehicle (2003 Honda Pilot EX); it was variable all-wheel drive.

We've been fortunate to have 2 dealerships that perform scheduled maintenance: Hyundai & Toyota

    Most recent on the Elantra:

Brake job--discs front/drum rears, rotors turned & rear shoes/hand brake adjusted
    Tires rotated
    Coolant replaced

They recommended oil change but I declined since I do the oil changes.

I need to take a pic of our vehicles side-to-side. :)
