2010 Dodge Journey (fairly loaded up one too, with a factory backup camera if you look closely), in decent shape except for the obvious damage that likely occurred not long before it was traded, or possibly even on the lot...

Dunno what's up with the wire hanging from underneath the dash, but it's kinda sketchy...

And I find it rather funny that this car is going to be 18 years old next year, and nobody bothered to remove the airbag warning tag; I think this is a clue that this is a low-mileage, elderly-owned car that simply never spend a day in a garage...

Put some snow tires on...it would go places on the roads.

2006 Honda Pilot, in surprisingly decent considering that most 1st Gen Pilots are beaten to shit, and many of the ones I've seen around here have major body rust...

If it doesn't have a posi rear, I wouldn't want to drive it in the snow; I don't think a limited-slip rear diff became standard on the GM full-size SUVs until 2015. My dad's 2018 GMC Yukon SLT not only has 4WD, but order code G80 (posi rear)...

It has traction control, so it would work pretty good. My Lexus rwd doesn't have a LS rear differential but has traction control (brakes) with snow tires and does really well for a 255 series rear tire.

The Posi in your Dads Yukon only works up to 20 mph, which is fine to get going and no get sideways at higher speeds.

Clearcoat failure, which is incredibly common on Hondas of this era...

I did not know that! What about your Sierra? Does that have the posi, and if so is it like my dad's?

My Tacoma has a brake-actuated limited-slip, which I lovingly refer to as a "fake posi", and which has actually worked great for me in shitty weather...

Your Lexus has an open rear too?!?!

Yep. Same G-80 style differential. 20 mph and it unlocks. If mine ever wears out, I will be putting in a Ram AAM carrier with the LS differential.

    Lexus is open diff.
