    In the early 1990s, Jeep touted its vehicles as having the best 4WD systems, but Cherokee had the same transfercase as the Chevy S-10 Blazer and GMC Jimmy; I have the sales brochures to prove it...

    Companies use each others drivetrain components/technology all the time. The current Supra is a prime example of that. Those 3.0TT BMW motors are hard to beat.

    That is correct. NP made transfer cases for a lot of manufactures.

    I had a 98’ Grand Cherokee with a 318.
    It used the QuadraTrac system. I never had any issues with it.

    That said, I don’t want any modern manufactured by Stellantis.
