The only thing left to do is buy one. I wonder what the sales numbers will look like for '24?

Did I say anything about $30K? How about $40K. That seems like a reasonable price for a TRD off-road. And a couple thousand more to add heated seats. Not $8K more.

When do the 2025’s officially start? Will a 2024 Tacoma become a rare thing at this point?

No idea. Think Toyota will build 100k 2024 Tacomas?

I bookmarked this picture from 7 years ago as a reminder to me that Tacoma owners need to be careful on winter roads. Notice the Quicksand Off Road in the picture.

Will they have time to build that many before they start labeling them as 2025’s? I wonder if the Pros and Hunters will all be 2025’s.

I was holding off for a 2024 Tacoma since I am without a truck at the moment, but after seeing these prices, I am thinking of trying to grab one of the last 2023 Tacomas. Really don’t know what to do now.

At the end of the day, it is just truck meant for hauling our asses from point A to point B.

4th Gen is all “the latest and greatest”, in 5-10 years from now it will be tired and be replaced by some other “latest and greatest” thing.

The 3rd Gen is a well proven platform that will last for years and years, can’t go wrong buying one.

Yeah. I am actually thinking about just going with the SR trim and calling it good. I have had trucks with all the bells and whistles. I am about ready to go back to something simpler.

I have a SR, has more standard options on it than I use.

I remember when electric windows, cruise control and intermittent wipers were hot shit new features.

    I know, right!?

Had vehicles with no power steering, no power brakes, no ac, no heat. ‘73 VW Westy, about as barebones as you can get.

Amazing all the stuff the “poverty trim” SR comes with.

That’s asking for a lower inflation adjusted price than your truck when new, while adding a LOT of features and capability in the new truck.

Enough with the inflation BS. Compare the pricing of a 23 to a 24. It’s way more than inflation. End of discussion.

It’s also way more truck. Better engine, better transmission, better suspension, better tech, etc.

Save that “end of discussion” talk for your kids.

Maybe so, but they may have just priced their self out of the market. There has to be a balance between tech and price. They have reached the realm of out of reach for some people’s price point.

Possibly true, but I think they’ll sell every truck they decide to build

Will the same size tires that are on the TRD Off Road go on the SR without any fitment issues, speedometer, or odometer issues.
