Outgear solutions lead time 25 weeks and growing

This fab shop is a mess and I would highly suggest ordering from another shop if you’re looking for armor. Ordered a rear swing out beginning of june and have been told multiple times it’ll be done this week.

 

They must not have enough capacity and people for all their orders.

Update I got a shipping notice today. Still insane to wait 6 months.

 

I got my rear high clearence bumper pretty quick about 4 weeks if I remember correctly. Altho, that was about a little over a year ago so things could have changed. 6 months is too much, sounds like they need to hire another employee or two.

 

Once you get it post up pics, ive been eyeing their rear swing out, I like it the most. Hopefully they sort their shit out before i order

 

When people complain about my shop being backed up I want to tell them to come down and start helping..

I listen to the thousands of "engineers" who post here, but nobody wants to do the math, do the tests, etc. However, they know they are better than the real engineers...

 

Their shop has grown a lot in popularity over the past year so not too surprised. I ordered their original hc rear in 2021 and the lead time was maybe 5 weeks and Joe also tailor cut the bumper to match my cut fenders at no additional cost or impact to delivery. I had a great experience dealing with him but as mentioned a lot can change in a years + time.

Seems like to me there is a difference between complaining about a shop just to complain versus complaining about a shop listing 5-6 week lead times and taking 5X that. OP’s experience is of course anecdotal but this isn’t first in the industry for this type of business practice.

 

Just a question. Why not stop orders till they are caught up???

 

I just ordered front and rear bumpers on black friday, lead times are listed at 8 weeks for the front and 10 weeks for rear. Hopefully isn't any longer than that.

i ordered the rear swing-out last Sunday and Joe emailed me the next day that it should be ready for pickup to match my date with SibiBuilt in late January.
we'll see

 

Nice! I'll be happy if I get mine before February too! I ordered unfinished in hopes its faster.

 

Buy a welder for less than what your rear bumper costs and do it yourself. Better then moaning on a forum

 

Doesn’t look like moaning to me, more like a PSA that his lead time has not been fulfilled within the timelines multiple times.
