4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

I'm thinking that guys doing their first drive of a 2.4T gas will feel a very noticeable improvement over a properly tuned and fed (89+ octane 1GR-FE) but it won't be an "I am in love!" type of feel.

 

I cracked, put a deposit down on an allocation, underground 7544 with OF, stabilizers and mudguards, paying a adm over MSRP unfortunately, $39k for my trade, being built on the 18th, arriving late Dec/early Jan.

 

I had it in my head that I was gonna be paying 46-48ish with a little wiggle room.... but if they go with $3k over, I may be sliding to the right on that timeline. so much for a new truck for christmas. lol

For what it is worth, I have seen several comments about the power, none have been negative.

 

OF is premium package. Paying $59k for a d*mn Tacoma.

I am planning to buy a 2024 unless i push it off till 2025 i want a manual one and will pay bare minimum I have to aint paying no market adjustment for sure. hoping for 42k ish

 

Its fine, I have $42k equity / cash down, so not too much of a bend over.

That's pretty much the same comparison I'm going with as well. I need to finish my list of what you get or don't get with each, and how much I care about the lack of something (still can't believe no Canyon trim has a power sliding rear window). Also have to somehow factor in all the port-installed and dealer-installed stuff that I mostly don't want and that often adds 2-3K or more to the price. But the hard thing to factor in is reliability.

 

It might be and I will prob go up to 45k if I need too but I am looking at as base a TRD as I can find with the manual

I think the 24 Limited has full time 4 wheel drive

 

Same I had to comfirm all the codes with my dealer, including paint code and 4WD, which I assumed at $54k, lol.

I confirmed all specs with them. But agree, wouldnt be surprised seeing $50k 2wds floating around.

 

GM has their 2.7 in the half tons for several years if that assists with their reliability. All the electronics are super new though (2022-present)

 

Luckily for you there is no trap, all OR's are 4wd. Congrats again, I hear that everyone remembers their 14th Tacoma the fondest.

I am assuming (dangerously) that the the 7544 is still DCSB OR anyways.
