Do BRZ or FRS seats fit in a single cab?

I've got a 98 single cab with the awful bench seat.

All the threads I'm finding on getting BRZ or FRS seats in a 1st gen are for bigger cabs than mine. The BRZ and FRS seats look kinda reclined in their OEM position so concerned the seats will lean too far forward. They're $200-400 a piece and the planted brackets are $185/each, want to confirm fit will be OK before I plop all that money down...

This bench seat is ridiculous, I'm only 145lbs and the stupid springs keep breaking (I've been welding them together since I got the truck in 2004, but after each weld some other weld breaks). I've stuffed the seats with more foam where it's sagged badly. Ridiculous.

Just check the measurements. Measure how wide the seats are.Id think as long as they are not so wide you can’t center them then anything close will fit. I’m not sure what the seats are you are talking about but there are tons of options out here. Especially if you can weld. If seen all kinds in our trucks. BMW, Subaru, Nissan, Kia, Mini.

Sounded like the easiest swaps are other Toyota seats, but having watched the inventory locally for a few months... they're already pulled from cars or trashed. The width seems OK, Im just concerned there isn't space to recline sufficiently in a single cab. The stock bench is pretty vertical. Unfortunately the only junk yard in town does NOT allow customers to inspect the cars. I dont mind driving a few hours to pick one up but just to measure one... not so much.

    Find another one for sale

You’re not looking for a unicorn. Find one at a Toyota or Subaru dealer.

For anyone else looking, at 5'10~ I have 31" from front of Taco bench seat to wall. The FRS seat at a reasonably upright angle is 25" from front to back.
