    Mornin' folks.

VA appraisal is ordered on the new place; pending whatever he says, we'll still close 15 Dec. Because on-base housing sucks, we needed 60 days notice; and if the 60 days crosses into a 3rd month, we're responsible for the whole thing. We set our final date for 31 Jan. Means we'll have about six weeks to complete the move, though. Rental UHaul van towing a trailer and my tacoma I think we can get it done in 4 trips - the Van cannot be too high because of the Corn Crib we have to drive through to get to the house. First trip will be the spare bedroom furnishings and kitchen stuff. I think we'll start living there around the first week of Jan. But it's not going to be easy even when we get there, as I will need laborers to carry stuff probably 50 feet to the nearest doors. I'm going to need a dolly air tires to cross the grass and flagstone, and/or a wheeler and a trailer. (sigh). I sure hope it's all worth it.

Couple pics from the weekend - the sellers are terrific - he's going to leave a bunch of stuff to jump start my care of the property. means a lot to me that he wants me to succeed.

This is from part of the driveway looking across to the front porch. At the far end of the house is a sunroom - there's a door on the back side of the house - and probably the door all the sunroom furniture needs to pass through, for ease. I wish they'd put in french doors there -but it is what it is.
    image_50449409 (1).jpg

This is from about that same spot looking to the left - that's the corn-crib and parking for 3 (the sellers were having a barn sell, so folks were around).

Thank you - that's a very nice offer; it's about 40 miles from APG area. Means an hour commute for me, but it's 100% back-country roads once I cross I95. Farms and Ranches and just stress-free motoring. You wouldn't have to work to even just come over and hang out...and help me with clearing 20 downed trees (thanks to a tornado), setting up a dog run, chicken run/coop, sheep stable, sheep trail/pasture, painting, landscaping, christmas lights, installing plumbing to the barn area, gravel trailer park area with power hook up, HipCamp site, etc, etc, etc... :D

I forgot how smooth and quiet my truck could be. Also how loud and unbalanced my coopers were

Had a longer drive today that I was able to drive consistently faster and at different speeds. Truck doesn’t vibrate at 45-50 and 60-65 anymore!
I can also hear in it. The Ironman Foam Cells don’t feel as harsh when not running the E rated tires. It’s a shame I don’t think there are any 33” tires for 16” rims that are not E rated…

I can confirm there are not any in existence. I have spent days and days searching the internet high and low lol

Mastercraft used to make one but it’s not in production anymore.

I hope that the VA inspector doesn't tear the house apart on you, it was a nightmare when I went though it 3 years ago. I had to pay for a 2nd inspection ( @ $700/visit) and it was after I got the VA involved, as the 'inspector' only failed me the 1st time for cosmetic things, nothing that mattered.

I would lend a hand for a load, I have a 5x10 utility trailer plus the gutless 4 banger Taco. I just need to get the trailer out of the yard beofre it turns to mud for the winter.

    265/75/16 in P and C load? Not quiet a 33, but close.

Thanks for the info. That’ll save me some more searching.

Youre right. I think I might go that route. Once Christmas is passed I (and if I decide not to trade into a 24 Tacoma) I might sell the set of coopers and go with a 265/75/16. I think I saw some that were not E, can’t remember what they were off the top of my head.

I definitely feel that too. There are too many tires though lol.

I keep looking at a snorkel and roof rack too. I still might do the snorkel, I don’t think it’ll reduce trade in value. Maybe I’ll ask the salesman im working with for my wife’s new car.

The snorkel would be cool. I used to have a Prinsu and I hated it so much, the wind noise was terrible and I lost about 2 mpg. I regretted it by the time I got home from the shop. It was sold within a month of install.

I had that size on my T4R, I know that the Falken Wildpeaks and Rubitracks come in standard and C load in that size. I also remember seeing General Grabber AT's like that as well.

Yeah there are lots of C or P rated options in 265/75/16.

Good to know, and I think I remember you saying that before. Since I don’t think one would transfer to a 4th gen, I’ll just like the way they look from a distance lol.

I have to mentally prepare to swap all the goodies I can too… some things I’m not looking forward to.

I don’t have the full 3” lift on my truck, maybe closer to 2” so 31s won’t look that bad. I think some I checked out were 31.9” too.
