    I did. It was threaded on. I brought a replacement faucet just in case. Finding the replacement hose was fun. I still hate I had to replace them. I kept them just in case

    Just had a repipe done three weeks ago.

    -Pex
    - Is it common to pull away the crawl space insulation and not put it back?
    - Should the Pex be covered in pipe insulation?
    - Does the old (1974) galvanized pipe need to be removed?

    Insulation needs to be placed back.

    Pex should still be Insulated per plumbing code.

    You can abandon old pipe in place

    Ok, so here we go. Betting there wasn't the proper room in back of the sink underneath due to the frame. Sink should have been about 3"-4" more forward, but that stuff is contracted to the lowest bidder.

    Probably more like that stall has been changed out since original rough in and install. You should see some of the stuff at my work. We replace stalls every few years due to people kicking them in and such o_O
