Most people get them from here. This is my next mod as well as soon as I find time to rewire the 2005-2011 switch to work with 2012-2015 switches, I found the wire schematics on here. Once that's done, I'll purchase these.

Your flares are looking like mine. Im installing a front bumper this winter and now im on the hunt for some you flares to blend the edge up to the front bumper when I install it. I think I may have trimmed too much off.

I knew I recognized that airport. Confirmed it when I saw your plates. My wife's boss has a vacation home in Sun Valley off Saddle Rd. One year they decided to drive up cause it'd be a good experience for her girls (not when your suv has tv's in them) and realized after that it was too much of a drive to drive their suv back to CA. My wife and I were driving behind them in my Tacoma. Well, I left a few days early to visit my family in Utah and cause I had work. My wife texts me when I got home if I were willing to fly back to Idaho and drive their suv home with her at the end of the work week. At first I thought "fuck that, have them trailer it home" but they offered to pay for my flight, food and time and it'll be a cool experience. The curve ball was that she needed her suv by Monday to take the girls to school. Landed in Idaho around 2pm Sunday and made it back home by 1 am Monday. Would I do it again. FUCK NO but it was a cool experience at the time.

 

Ahh, yeah. These flares were installed because my factory ones kept falling off, so these are bolted in place. They're also trimmed to clear 35's.

 

Same. Trimmed for 35s and kept falling off so I added bolts to them too. Should've gone with black hardware on mine.

 

That would be a really cheap PDR repair(or even a good spot to learn a little PDR for yourself.)

Replaced PCV and hose. + - 115k on it. Changing the plugs and this part has made a noticeable improvement to the idle, pickup and the occasional light acceleration pinging seems to be gone as well.

 

does the PCV help with rough idle? if you also changed the plugs i'd imagine that has more to do with the better idle than the PCV

I feel that it did help, but not as much as the new plugs did. It didn't have what I would define as a "rough" idle. The engine idle (smoothness) was definitely improved by the new plugs. The new PCV seems to have eliminated the last of the very slight idle shake it had and I also don't feel it in the steering wheel anymore.

There is a also big difference between the old and the new one as far as the rattling sound you hear when you shake them. The hose also had a small crack on the intake end which may have affected the idle as well. (also replaced ) I'm glad I did them separately (plugs a few weeks ago) and not at the same time, else I probably wouldn't have noticed the slight difference/improvement in the idle with the new PCV. YMMV

 

driversside engine at least on the 4.0, back side of the intake area its up against the firewall, recommend a long extension and a 19mm deep socket, cant remember if i needed a wobbly. you will need to pull a hose off and one bracket if you have bigger hands. or the hose is crusty.

 

Do it under the back glass, super stealth. My buddy has the rigid chase light and its super fancy.

 

have any pics of this set up? I'm not against this at all. already have some power running to the cap so adding more wiring wouldn't be super complicated

How does the garland hold up with the wind and I figure you secured them with zip-ties? I have my lights on my prinsu as well and like the look of them with the garland but I drive highway alot so.
