A sincere thank you to @Yacob_D for knocking out the frankenslider project! I couldn’t be happier with the results! I wouldn’t have guessed they didn’t come this way from Westcott.

Jacob is seriously talented and a stand up dude! Do not hesitate to chat him up if you have a fab project (as long as you’re behind my laundry list of projects in line ).

Hello fellow AZ folks! Tucson here, just checking in. Anyone else on here in Tucson? I’m the Lunar Rock Trail rolling around with a GFC camper topper on the back. Would love to get together and do some camping with ya’ll if anyone’s up for that. Hope to meet some of you at some point.

 

I'll be going down to Tucson this weekend to wheel/camp with my buddy at U of A! Maybe we'll see you around!

 

That'll do. Oldest got his red Ryder bb gun a few weeks ago, so probably a new nerf blaster and a transformer toy. Little one, well he's too small for much so a few boxes of Cheerios lol.

Yeah Tucson kinda died down once Jason and Mike moved. Matt is still around. Stefan is in phoenix now but works in Tucson still.

Fellas, pour one out. My 4.0 gave up last night on I-10 at rush hour with 140k on the clock (all my own miles, bought it brand new in 2012, spotless maintenance record).

Now the question is: low mileage junkyard motor, or park it for a couple months until I could start an LS swap...

 

Hows he doing? I talked to him probably a bit over a year ago. I know he was just concentrating on work and raising the kids.

 

Oh damn! Only 140k?! Thats fucking strange. Well do you have another vehicle to drive for a few months while you're collecting parts? A few months isnt really that long to wait to start a swap.
