I wouldn't bother if you're not changing the computer. It's just a good way to waste money if you can't tune. That's a lot of money for a kit that comes with a cheap eBay turbo too

Yes that’s what I was thinking. You might as well just get a 100 series if you need you Cruiser to keep up with traffic so bad.

Oh I mean I would totally toss a turbo on my 1FZ and have a much less disappointing drivetrain than a 100 series. Just not at the price that kit is offering, with no tuning solution and a Walmart turbo it's just not appetizing. But if I could just buy the exhaust j pipe for like I don't know let's say $600. Sure I'd do that and toss a quality turbo on mine and supply all the rest myself. USDM 100 series is just a compromise to sell vehicles to people who don't need a Land cruiser

I know you’re a 100 hater, but you may have a point since nobody bought them after the Sequoia came out. I still think they’re good vehicles, but they’re more like an overgrown Subaru on steroids.

The wits end kit must have had something going for it if people were plonking down 6k for it to maybe arrive sometime in the next century

The wits end kit is vaporware, Joey is a crook. You can't buy anything from wits end anymore really. That theif keeps getting dropped by credit/debit card processors for excessive charge backs. He's actually being forced into bankruptcy by legal action from creditors. He promised and even demoed a turbo kit with exceptional R&D and quality parts so I don't blame the buyers. But unfortunately they'll never receive what they purchased.

As for this, yeah it's not my favorite. Buy a Sequoia or a 4runner. The 105 series is everything the 100 should have been.

Too bad they never put the 1HD FTE in the 105. I do wish we got the coil pack 1FZ with no EGR here though.

I'm kind of okay with the diesels never being sold here. They're clattery, slow, and not particularly great on fuel and Diesel's really expensive in the US and I doubt that that's ever going away.

I wish we had like a 30 gallon tank though, that's what makes me jealous of my buddy's diesel.

You know they make a extended range tank for your truck right? Land cruisers have the option for a second tank. But yours is literally a bolt in replacement with larger capacity.
