How do you know they ran the same tests huh!? I heard they run different tests on Tuesdays than Thursdays.

@Speedytech7 when did you sign up for this? I mean I get it, put a 5vz on an engine stand and Helen Keller can do it... Easy money.

    working on it... :-)
A most excellent film. Not just a great Godzilla movie, but a great movie period. I'd have to rank this 2nd, only behind the '54 original.

Took the wife along, who is not into such fare - at all - and even she loved it, telling me afterwards that it was one of the best movies she'd seen in the last couple of years or more. We were both crying at the end. Powerful stuff and the main character/hero, who struggles with PTSD and fights through it... his arc is affecting and heart wrenching.

This movie is wonderful, but not perfect: a touch too long, some overacting in spots, and the CGI was kinda wonky in some shots. But overall, (and with a budget of only 15 million!), it's pretty damn amazing. The visuals are jaw dropping in many scenes. Definitely worth seeing on a big screen; IMAX, if there's one near you. The Big Guy is just gorgeous, and his atomic breath? Holy shit!!! It will blow you away, literally. LOL

I just can’t get over how I didn’t even touch the transmission during that whole ordeal and it’s making odd noises at highway speeds and when downshifting out of overdrive. It operates fine outside of the noises. It’s properly filled and temps are fine. Could look into shifter adjustment but it has a pretty wide range of properly shifting into gear. I don’t have a kickdown cable to mess with.

An R150F swap would probably be less annoying but pretty costly. I’d want the 04 MT ECU and those are pricey.

I don't send mine in. No news is good news. Zane was banging it off the rev limiter a couple days ago and the rods and pistons stayed where they are supposed to. Good enough for me. Love having friends that beat the snot out of my cars as hard as I do.

I'm sure you already know this but there are two different R150F trans, so if you take the plunge make sure you get a taco/4rumner one, not one for a pickup.

I didn't know the 150s in the 3.0 and 3.4 trucks were different. It'd be cool to find an R151f with the shorter first gear, but I think they only came in the turbo 22re trucks in 86 and 87 here in the US.

Obviously he needs to have a video conference call with the analyst (or group) that conducted said tests.

Go over standard operating procedures to ensure there were no other variables to account for. This includes day of, day before, and day after.

Not to mention datalogs of any and all information regarding said tests, when it was conducted, the temperature of said room, whether it was done on a night with a full moon or not and whether the analyst was married or not.

I still think that place is one guy. Also his FAQ section on the website is really snarky which I appreciate
