All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

    KTM is killin it!

The headlights and styling overall are unique to say the least! Never really bothered me though, I'm more focused on the components and how a bike rides/performs.

I've actually put off buying a bike simply because I didn't like the paint color offered. If I'm laying out that kind of cash or worse yet having a payment for any length of time I damned well better like what I'm buying.

i feel that! i like most color options for the current 400s and the 500s from kawi and honda but nobody has the two colors i truly want to see...
i want to see the matte blue on the kawi and the classic red on the honda 500

Yeah I agree but haven't read any reviews on it yet. The 890 SMT should be a little better on the highway, but still prefer my current combo of bikes.

Understandable ...come ride my 1290 SDR and I bet you'll forget about that ugly headlight very quickly lol :bikewheelie2:

It might have even been you that said it on this thread but I won't have a black bike. They look nice enough but black is hard to keep looking nice, shows every speck of dirt, and just isn't very visible to drivers.

That's awesome someone put serious miles on what many folks in the US consider a small bike. I think that's at least part of why I got such a deal on the 2013 FJR I bought. Too many people see 60k miles and thin it's at the end of its life.

ya it seems a good amount of the cbr500r will run to high miles with no issues and have better mpg and comfort since its a heavier bike and slightly larger.

It honestly wouldn't make a difference with the exception of looks.....but if Honda ever throws spoked wheels on the CB500X.....I will buy one. I also kind of dig the SCL500 Scrambler. Throw some knobbies and high fender on and

ya it dont make a huge differance i just thought it was neat someone hit that kinda of miles on small sport bike. overall for looks i prefer the honda over the kawi but the kawi has more performance and is cheaper so ill have to look at both and think about it lol. i forgot about the scrambler i like the look of those but doubt they are to comfy haha

I honestly don't need spoked wheels.....but I just love the look of them on ADV bikes. In my mind, they have to be on them :D
I dig everything except the color. I'd like to see it in white.

Only way I'll ever buy a bike with spoked wheels is if they're made for tubeless tires. I'd much rather just plug and reinflate a tire than to have to pull the wheel, unmount the tire, and swap out a tube somewhere.
