Funny thing I gotta work in this

 

Being that the hardware is also Chinesium, I replaced it with upgraded stuff. I got the Titanium off of Amazon. M8x1.25 x whatever length. I forget. The (4) larger bolts were M12x1.25x70 and M12x1.25x90 I believe? Oh and M8x1.25x25mm Socket Cap Scews for the oil drain panel. I got them from McMaster Carr. Japanese Industrial Standard (McMaster has every type of hardware imaginable and ships in one day.) I then took everything, but the Ti, and threw it in a vibratory polisher for a few days so it was all pretty and shiny. This kept me from rushing with the paint. haha

McMaster Carr is your friend. You can get even tougher ones than the JIS ones. I'm just a JDM fan boy.

 

Curious about your opinion of the bumper. I have the BA4x4 sliders, and I'm happy - only complaint is that the welds could be cleaner. Could you post a close up of some of the joints?

I did just try his trick with a patch on my ceiling so we’ll see if it sticks, it didn’t feel very sturdy.

 

I need to "Wiggle It" just a little bit...my one and only patch from OTT.

I’m glad to help out. I saw the question asked and it reminded me I also wondered about that a couple weeks ago and just figured it couldn’t be done.
