    If you are going to use OME springs wouldn't it be better to use the OME shocks rather than the billies ?

    For the best ride, Yes. But they ride very well on the 5100's too.

    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Does anybody know if the 885's and Bilstiens @ 0" would ride better than the stock sport springs with the 5100's set at 2.5"?

    The snap ring is fine, but you should use the OME shocks for the 886 springs, and bumper/winch combo.

    Thanks for creating this thread. As with many members, I am looking to upgrade my suspension. When I heard about the OME/5100 "issue", it threw me off, so I wanted to verify which coil(s) are recommended with the 5100s.

    From what I can remember, Downsouth Motorsports has warrantied 5100's no matter what spring (Eibach or OME) was used with them, IF they were purchased from them.

    deck plate mod,jba cat back,bilstein 5100's,ome 883 springs, Allpro expos, allpro U-bolt flip kit, 10" Bilstien 5150 shocks, custom lower shock mounts
    Hold up guys mlittle is a first gen...he should not be using the ome 884 or 885 spring. I run the 883 spring on bilstein 5100s with no issues, slightly lower spring rate than the eibachs and I believe about 0.1" shorter. Got a full 3" out of them

    Just wanted to clarify for him, wouldn't want mlittle to go out and get the 884s or 885s and get a nice 4.5" lift and ruin his front end

    Might be a dumb question but...could eibachs work on ome nitros? I wana keep my lift as close to 2" as possible and im worried w/ 884s ill be closer to 2.5" and possibly dealing with more issues(alignment, cv's, vibes...etc)
