Hello there. Im somewhat new here. Im just going to jump right into the question. So a while back i bought a set of kings 2.5 coilovers for my 3rd gen taco. It has a 2.5 inch lift on it currently. Im thinking about putting a 6 inch lift on it. Like i said i already have the kings but i want to lift them up more.
Basicly my question is, what is the part called that goes right above they eyelet at the bottom of the shock. The cylinder looking thing.
I plan on buying a longer sized part. Just need to know the name.
    Thanks guys.

I might be wrong but with 6 inch drop bucket lift is designed for a stock coil over length . You don’t need any of those.

By installing a longer eyelet at the base of the coil over, you will change to overall length of the coilover, which will NOT fit on the truck. LCA and UCA have a specific “spread” or distance between the two to maintain alignment and road manners. CVs/steering will have extreme angles due to the misalignment as well. If you’re looking to go above 3” on these trucks , you’ll need a drop bracket lift(POS lifts) or spend the $ on a LT setup($6-10K). I would not recommend a bracket lift as they do not provide any suspension “upgrade” beyond a physically taller truck, but much less capable too due to the limited geometry of those bracket lifts.
