I always get a kick out of watching Dilbert's drive with snow covering all the windows except for the tiny area they took the time to clear on the windshield. Its also funny to watch a Dilbert hit the brakes and mounds of snow piled up on the roof slide down over their windshield. What do they do next? That's what your wipers are for or they just keep driving. Duh!

It's your brakes that are the problem. Your dime store rear drum brakes need adjusting tighter to take pressure off the front brakes, which are what is making the truck nose down causing the snow slide.

I'm pretty sure there is a TSB for this that your dealer should be able to perform to remedy the problem. Stop in and ask.

An alternative is to pony up for a 2024, rumored to have rear disk brakes, which should not have this problem.

Park under a cover. You know, garage, carport, etc.

Visit your local home building store, purchase about $10000 in wood and fasteners, then build the structure detailed below.

Who drives around with snow on top of the roof … stuff can come off and impact another driver behind you .

Do you have this button on your dash?

This button raises and tilts the roof to allow snow to slide right off and into the bed. It may only be available on northern, snow zone, vehicles. I thick it is required on Canadian vehicles. I’m not certain a Dallas vehicle would have this option.

You should ask your dealer if you have this option on your truck.

You can always add it afterward if you are handy. The wiring harness is typically already in the truck. The part number is PT-OU812-NE1469

i am not a scientist, weatherman, engineer, or smart, but if i understand the issue, the windshield is at fault. if it were me, i'd remove the windshield or drive in reverse.

Actually, in NH it is illegal to not clear your roof (ref: Jessica’s Law).

Use the brush on the end of an ice scraper and remove the snow before you drive. That’s what most people with common sense do
