Lol Ryan Day? Really? "(Insert name here) vs. Everybody" did not start with Ryan Day. The first place I ever saw it used was by Joique Bell after the Detroit Lions lost to the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs on a clear pass interference penalty that was picked up in the 2014/2015 season. He used the phrase "Detroit vs. Everybody" several times when talking to the media after the game. I'm sure he probably got it from somewhere before that.

And no, the culture isn't "being victims of being caught cheating." The culture is that of a galvanized team that wants to prove to the world that a low level staffer doing some advanced scouting is not the reason for their success. It's mostly the MSU/OSU crowd that tries to claim that, but nonetheless they feel it.

Yawn. Every school does this, and they’re only chasing Michigan because of a cheeseburger.

The entire sports business has agreed this is stupid.

a lot of bad ass stuff
I’ve thought to myself that if Michigan wins the natty this year the ncaa will rule for them to vacate the title in 3-5 years. It seems like the ncaa thing to do.

At least the fans don’t give 2 shits about what the ncaa says. Even when they vacate stuff or take awards away we all still know who won it.

Except teams like UCF, screw them. trying to be like Alabama and claiming shit you didn’t win.

Day didn't start it, but Michigan started using it like 2 weeks after Day used it in a post-game interview (where he managed to NOT cry like a baby.)

I still say that the Patriots should have given Pete Carroll a Super Bowl Ring for the win in 2015! ;)

Harbaugh bought a recruit a cheeseburger. That’s a violation. Basically what he was suspended for the first 3 games of the season for.

Mekhi Mews from UGA in the portal. That’s surprising

Etienne from UF in the portal, too. Also shocking. That kid is good.

Someone on TV said it had to do with sign stealing. Which is ironic because that's what he and his brother accused the Patriots of doing way back in 2014.

Did not think Etienne would leave, Napiers seat just got a little warmer even with that supposed quality class coming in.

Bought him a cheeseburger and then told the NCAA "I don't remember."

The Patriots filmed private walkthroughs and signs, and then coordinated them with sideline calls.

Harbaugh got in hot water because he supposedly bought a recruit a cheeseburger during weird NCAA period of “you can do this but not that” during COVID rules. Harbaugh refused to cooperate because it was a meal for a hungry kid, and the NCAA looked as dumb as ever because they were chasing a meal (players’ interest organization). They suspended him three games for refusing to cooperate, and making them look like the assholes that they are.

They tried real hard to go after him for the live game sign stealing, but it never came back on him. Instead, the B1G suspended him three games because he’s ultimately in charge of the program.
