So far I'm averaging 2-3 years out of a strand before they deteriorate, so I'd say they hold up pretty well. My commute is a lot of highway miles and as long as they're zip tied down pretty well nothing moves or bangs in the wind.

Not done "today", but rather over the last week.

Replaced 90% of the suspension, with the last 10% being replaced soon (hopefully).

    parts:
    Bilstein 6112 at 2.2" setting
    Bilstein UCAs
ICON RTX leaf pack (setting #2 to account for the bed rack weight)

After an alignment, its really smooth except for a couple fixable things. There is a slight shudder when moving from stopped, but i've got a carrier bearing drop kit on the way which should fix that. I also realized after all this that the new leaf springs are maxing out the OEM rear shocks when going over any bump that causes the back end to "jump", which is a problem. I was gonna replace the rear shocks eventually anyway, but I'm gonna have to do it sooner than originally planned unless I want to risk completely blowing out a shock. In the meantime I just need to be a bit careful on speed bumps. I'm currently trying to figure out the correct Bilstein 5125 length I need to resolve it. I'll have to fix that before I can go wheeling next.

I agree. I think D-rings hanging off the front bumpers of trucks look tacky. Just leave them attached to your tow rope or in a toolbox until needed. Reminds me of my early twenties when nipple rings were big.

Looks nice! I did the OEM Pro insert, but I just couldn't abandon the chrome surround on my truck. :pout: (yet)

    It's not my fault: It's a sickness. ;)

The same shit everyone else has.
Built a new set of ceramic fog light jumpers

Old ones were corroded so I just pinned a new harness instead of dealing with the corrosion.

    Replaced the SPC ball joints.

Got about 70k miles out of the last set.

People constantly whine about the SPCs being junk, but I don’t see any aftermarket ball joints lasting as long as the OEMs.

More mods than it should have...
Finally had some time in my busy schedule to install @mattgecko bed and softopper lights. Got them in warm white and they are the perfect addition to the bed, and super easy install.

Finally installed some Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro's. Been waiting for a long while and jumped on their black friday sale, was tough for me to shell out that much money for lights but it was definitely worth it they're seriously impressive! Also did the fog lights anytime with taillights mod, which was a great free mod I should have done ages ago. Before/after output comparison photo is fogs only, although I probably need to lower them a bit haven't had a chance with a flat surface and wall to measure.

agreed on the lights they are amazing! and for a guy who hates to spend money on nice lights because they use to disappear off the front of my vehicles. they were worth the money if these disappear ill be pissed. most of the rest of my lights on my Tacoma are Nilight from Amazon.

Any pics/tips of the control pack mounting location? Getting ready to install my Apex winch and will need to relocate my control pack as well.
