    We have Key deer in Florida. Though you’re not supposed to hunt them lol.

    That was my first bow. Got it when I was in high school in the early 80s. Didn’t have money for sights at the time so my buddy and I glued wooden matches on it lol. Worked good unless they got broken off until I was able to get a three pin sight. I still have it and love the finish and even though it hasn’t been used in many years I just can’t part with it even though it’s not worth much if anything

    Would have bought mine in 1980 also.....Sears credit card!!! Probably around $100 for bow, sights, arrows etc? After that one, I had a Proline Typhoon XT (can't remember the mfgr. now), the Oneida HT250, Oneida Eagle, a Mathews, another Mathews, and my Current Mathews DXT. Had 3 crossbows mixed in at various times due to physical issues (couldn't draw the compound) - a Barnett, a 10 point, and my current Ravin.

    I also had a Pro Line Typhoon XT after my Whitetail Hunter. Pro Line Archery was bought by Darton back in the early 2000s.
    After the XT, I had a Xi Legend Magnum.
    Now I'm shooting a Mission Ballistic. This will be last bow.
