What a mess of a gubberment job. It's for the boss mans solar light brackets, he's attaching them with sticky strips to rock post.

We got one out here that says appointment required.

I pull into the park lot and the wife says what are you doing? I say getting a reading, duh.

She says you need an appointment.

I say they knew I was coming, otherwise they are a fake.

Little bit of this and that
GE set crapped out? Bummer. We have(had) a similar set. Only reason we got rid of them is we needed to go with a stackable set for the laundry space in the current house.

I bought it at an auction years ago for cheap.

Awesome to use when you need it but there is no good way to store it.

They are always a pain to store.
It’s funny Milwaukee makes their own version of a tri vise now, and has all the features I’d like the rigid to have. Basically a small table so you can put your channel locks, adjustable, porta-ban, whatever on while you’re working. We bought one for a project at work, but when one of the guys on the project tried to thread 2” rigid pipe with it he said it just spun around no matter how tight he got the chain. I remember back when I first started in the trade we were threading 4” in one of those and the biggest worry was flipping the stand around. The vise had to bolted down! No substitute for the original I guess!

This one (most Rigid I believe) has a screw that cranks up from the bottom that holds a 1" pipe, you put the other end on an overhead I-beam clamping the stand to the floor -- the stand isn't going anywhere then. :muscleflexing:
