Great to hear! Ya I'm hoping they get here before any real snow, I want to coat the underbody as soon as I can while it's clean. I'm waiting on a MGM as well. Hopefully we see them by next week at this point.

Well, I'm out. Got sick of waiting and waiting and waiting....
I just canceled and got my deposit back.
If anybody in the New England region wants a TRD Sport with a 6 foot bed McGee Toyota in NH should have one anytime between now and the end of time.

Where can you see the options list? I have my VIN, and the truck was built on 11/8, but my salesman says the system doesn’t even show “processed” yet. The system originally showed a mid-Dec delivery date, but I can only assume I probably won’t see it until after the new year. Bummer.

@Ottopilot38 , I entered the VIN into the Toyota app on my phone (got the idea from another contributor earlier in this thread) and after some more button-pushing I was able to see info on my truck, including notes indicating that mudflaps, all-weather floor mats & door sill protectors ('2T') were added at 'port'. I still cannot (as of this writing) see any location data on the truck, so I assume that it's still in NJ somewhere.

I went to McGee Toyota in NH and they offered me "instant cash offer" for my trade. That number is not even close to "trade in value" so I walked. Had great luck with Emerson Toyota in Maine if you want to give them a try. Highly recommend them.

My salesman called me and told me the truck on hold for me would be here until january. So he found me this SR, same truck with running boards. He also knocked 300$ of the price. Just picked it up today!

Congrats on the new Truck. I have one just like it.
I have a question. Is the front bumper supposed to be a different shade of Magnetic gray? I only ask because mine is also darker than the body color by a shade or two. I thought it had been repainted and poorly so. Maybe they are like that on purpose?

The SR comes with a black front bumper. All of them do, not a mistake.

That gray truck looks like a SR with the utility package. It deletes the painted bumpers, sliding rear window, rear jump seats/seat belts, rear speakers, rear cubby that replaced the small rear console that came on gen 2 access cabs, rear cup holders and intermittent wipers. It adds black mirrors and door handles. On the plus side it lists for about $1500 less. It the black front bumper cover doesn't look so bad on the darkest colors but since the bumper cover angles up where it meets the fender and headlight it really should be painted. We looked at a used one in White and it has a lot of clear space behind the front seats which is good for a tradesman. The Orkin man drives a white utility package Tacoma. You'll see a lot of them in white for fleet sales. Not so good if you need to carry a passenger for a short trip every now and then.

I wouldn't argue with you I damn sure don't know much when it comes to that type of information.
However my SR front bumper is close to body color/almost. It blends nicely and is very close to the same but not quite. I have a sliding rear glass (manual) and whoever had it prior to me (used with 14k on it) had the windows including the windshield tinted , all led lighting and an led strip under the tailgate when in reverse. So maybe they did a half assed color match spray job on the bumper?

Yes, definitely the famous SR front black bumper. Did Toyota really have to do that? They did not carry this over for the 4th gen tho.

Actually, looking closer at you picture someone may have painted the stock wheels and the front bumper area. Not your aftermarket bumper with the red shackles. The area around it.

For at least 2023, all SR Tacomas have a color-keyed bumpers front and back. A few years prior SR did not have the color keyed front bumper. From the ebrochure:
    Utility Package includes:
    – Adds black door handles, mirror caps and bumper,
    and fixed rear window
    – Removes rear seats and rear cup holders
    – Removes variable intermittent windshield wipers

In post #127 you can see the lack of a sliding rear wind, rear headrests, painted mirrors and door handles. This truck has the utility package.
The features page of the attached excerpt from the ebrochure shows the white front bumper for the SR. It seems they forgot to mention the front bumper and only call out the rear bumper as color keyed but they are both painted. The lack of intermittent wipers is a bummer. My 09 Tacoma base model did not have them and I missed that when I bought it.

"Dark gray grille with black surround, color-keyed
heated power outside mirrors, color-keyed door
    handles and rear bumper"

I painted those horrible silver steel wheels black and added some proper tires. I have a set of Black 17" TRD wheels coming in next week so the flat black steel will suffice for now. I suspect Toyota may have simply sprayed some of the old black bumpers with body color to get a close enough match? It is definitely not black but also not quite body color either.

The truck with the mismatched gray front bumper most likely was repainted by the selling dealer or whoever traded it not Toyota. Don't know if the transport companies still do this but I've bought 2 vehicles new years ago that had front bumper and other paint work poorly done before the new car dealer them. When they damaged them in transit the companies would often get them fixed cheaply themselves since they ultimately get charged for damage in their possession.
