They don’t make them like that anymore, I’ve probably had this Ge 3 years and hoping it’s just a switch or something gone bad . I can’t get anyone out today but supposed to come by in the morning. I can troubleshoot shoot the old stuff but this new electronics has be bum fuzzled and no idea where to start.

Yeah, Not all bad lol. We were able to catch lowes having a sale and got the new version of our same washer (8 years old) for $868 out the door. It was normally $1400:eek:.

We bought all new appliances when we bought and remolded our house 8ish years ago. I want to say we paid $6200 for a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a washer and dryer. All matching colors. The fridge slowly started getting hotter about 3 years ago to the point it was 50° inside. LG covered that under warranty. The washer has sounded like a jet engine during its spin cycle for about the last 3 month. It finally just started blowing water out from everywhere underneath lol.

I tried the bypass thing but it was still doing the same thing, sounds like something is stuck while the lid switch just clicks.

I always buy the simplest appliances I can. As few puter chips as possible. I’m like you the fancy ones are too complicated and too expensive to repair. The last washer I got the lady was upgrading to one of those steam deals. I just giggled and took my new to me washer on home. :D
