15° this morning. I think I’ll pass. Battery shit the bed on last ride anyway so she sleeps till spring.

 

Sometimes I feel like that wolf 10,000 years ago that thought to himself " I'll just go over to that fire and maybe I can get something to eat" Now he's wearing a raincoat and begging for Milk Bones.

I was that cool guy and now I'm in a minivan with Christmas lights <sigh>

I have a one bike with a parasitic load I cannot figure out. other than that I've been doing ok on batteries.

and yeah....not even a possibility at those temps.

Busy assed day woodworking and getting orders done up. Gotta pack a bunch of crap up to ship out tonight. Tomorrows buckle-down-and-study day.

 

Putting new weatherstripping around the bulkhead door turned into slighter bigger project

 

I gotta replace my threshold at some point... kudos to doing it with a chisel and not a demo bar.

 

Yea..

It was real hard to close etc.
They put the threshold about an inch too far inside.
Had a fuck of a time closing it.
After I got the door square and the hinges aligned it was even worse.
Had no choice after that.



Now it closes good and the new felt weatherstrips compress.

When the basement was cold you never noticed it.
Now the heat is there I felt the cold draft just walking by it.

At some point I have to do both of mine to my house. Maybe I'll just hire out @Sig45... less frustration for me
