No idea, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary leading up to it, never had a single mechanical issue with it, and oil tests always came back fine - I do have to admit that I rev the absolute piss out of it on a daily basis, like redlined on every single onramp/interchange/merge and I drove it like a racetruck in the desert pretty frequently... :mudding:

My backup car is a bit of a pile, but the worst issue is no A/C and that won't be a problem for a bit...

Even with everything that is involved with a swap, it's still going to be less than a new truck. You can also build it to the power level you desire, or at least what your bank account allows.

Ouch, that's rough. Are you wanting a reliable daily again? Drop an identical engine in it over a weekend, and go on to drive another 100k+ miles.

I’m in Tucson! I’m more of a trail day tripper right now because of my schedule… I get out with the Tucson 4Runners Facebook group once in a while, I’ll hit you up next run I make it to, or shoot me a message if you’re trying to plan something.

I'm in Tucson, but work has me putting in a bunch of hours right now... Training to get my engineer certification with the railroad. I'll keep an eye out for anything going on and chime in if the stars align.

Yeah even all of the homies girlfriends that were friends with her cut her out. My wife did.
Hell yeah! I do need to come down the hill and check out a job we are starting the end of this month at U of A. And check out our new branch down there aswell. List of reasons to go to Tucson is growing.

Just got home from DE the taco spotting out there was pretty weak. Only really modified one I saw was a 3rd gen with an alucab set up. Pretty much everything else was stock. Kinda figured I'd see some beach set ups since you can drive on some of the beaches out there but nope

Oh hell yeah! But that is a long time. Bright side is that is when I went to get mine and the weather was perfect to explore my way back down through Yellowstone and the Tetons.
