I'm glad others have some better times at Smithtown. Maybe it's a sign for me to try them out again.

    A bunch..and no build thread!
Their "service Tech" and his buddy turning on all of my accessory lighting, pulling my winch line and playing with it while my truck was in for an oil change was enough for me to never go back there.

Hey guys. Anyone have a place to recommend for undercoating their taco for winter? I usually do it myself but this year I’m too busy with the new dog / a hunting trip coming up. Thanks y’all!

I bought mine Recently from smithtown and I don’t blame the dealer ship but it was my sales guy he didn’t mark it correctly that it was sold so when I came back and the end of the week for it the truck was sold and I was upset and asked for my deposit back but in the end they did make it right but I had to wait a little longer for the next one to come in and got a good deal on. Does any one still meet up on Long Island trying to get ideas for my taco

If any of you LI guys enjoy fishing and are looking for a way to transport your rods, I found this company out of Bethpage called X-Rack, super high quality. Uses the factory rail (compatible with the 2nd gen rails too).

Trying to get a discount code for TW members (I am not employed by or affiliated with this company whatsoever)

Some more pics, it’s compatible with all types of covers as long as you retain your factory T rails. These show it swung down for storage/able to roll the bed cover into place.

it’s not that difficult to do at home with a jack and some tools . I still have the removal and install kit if needed

anything else as long as you DONT use OK4WD. They’re some crooks. And will leave the job incomplete by “forgetting” to offer/install basic components such as a 25 dollar diff drop for a $2500 lift with control arms and such in turn destroying axles. And all they had to say was OOPS

I would still do it for piece of mind because the oem needle bearing that Toyota uses is prone to breaking and releasing metal shards into your front diff . Which can potentially be a more expensive issue in the future .
