We used the pipe when ceiling height would allow but longer jobs we’d anchor them to the ground, then tie a rope around one of the legs to hold the handle of the pony threader

 

Why bother, they hadn't listened to anyone about anything for the last 15 years...


This is exactly how I gave notice:

Respectively they said:
It isn't going to get any better.

Sounds similar to me.

I didn't waste time in the exit interview. Signed the papers, turned in my id and went fishing.

Thought I'd be there all day, was done at 0830. Most of my last day was paid to fish.

This is way I lean as well, I doubt any progress comes from exit interview except either getting put on the never hire again list or not. As small as a niche as the work I do is, everybody knows somebody that knows everybody and it's just better to smile and nod and wave goodbye.

 

In my case that age was 12

 

Funny I never really quit I just never went back to work.
I did leave my Snap on box with a few thousand in tools .
For one of the younger starting r techs to use.

Here’s what the spot welder was bought for. Doing 12 now, there will be 120. Newspaper rack doors are getting new handles.
