I had a deal put together for a Limited LR OR with power package, JBL, Moonroof and a few things for $64k, just can't get myself to like it, probably always be in a Tacoma.

Trucks in general are incredibly expensive these days, it isn't just Tacomas

Seriously though, this is just casual conversation, most people just passing time; wait for a true Friday-worthy thread.

It’s all relative, just means they have a bigger nut to crack. Even Elon Musk the richest man in the World, still needs to get loans and government assistance…

Older I get, the less I want to own. (humble brag) :)

At the end of the day they are just dumb trucks…as my dad used to say it is new until you drive it off the lot.

Nah I don’t think you’re a punk at all that’s dumb. I just think prices for everything now are absolutely insane!

Not at all, disabled vet now nurse that works for a living. We live in an older house in said neighborhood that me and my wife pinched pennies for and busted our a**es and still do. Just pointing out AL isn’t all the redneck nonsense people make it out to be.

Idaho is, sometimes referred to as “The Mississippi of the Pacific North West”

Except maybe the newly formed “Little California” islands that have popped up the last 10 years. Lol! Of course most cashed out on the CA real estate market moved here, then bought a bunch of toys and now complain about being broke.

Similar here, the people that live in the 3/4 million dollar homes a lot are relocating from MA, CA, IL, etc. and I’m sure still saddled with debt. All me and wife have is the mortgage.

i went to the dealer Monday and drove a Limited 4x4 w/i-Force Max loaded, 5k off sticker bringing it down to $61,000 and told the salesman I just wanted to drive it. I wasn’t buying.

The 2024 Tundra is a hell of a Truck. Too much truck for my use. But if he keeps coming down on the price he’s going to beat the Tacoma. I might just do it.

$575 extra for a spray-in bed liner on a 2024 TRD-OR? They must have decided they needed the base price to be under $43k and someone said, hey, we can get there if we charge $575 extra for the bed liner. I bet not many will come from the factory without it but who knows.

Mine doesn’t have it the tundras are hit and miss. It’s a worthless option and doesn’t adhere well, Toyota had a tsb for the tundras on it flaking off. I’m baffled the engineers were like yes let’s line the composite bed…
