If anybody is looking to score some Giant Loop gear, they've got a sale going. Dates at the bottom the the pic.

I wouldn't pay over MSRP, personally. I hate price gouging, especially on a mass produced bike. Honda makes a ton of these.

    I got that email!

I also got the tank bag yesterday. Hoping to try it out soon but I'm waiting for the paint protection film before I put the tank bag on.

I figured @Calamity_taco meant OTD was slightly higher than MSRP, which is a great deal in my local market.

Southern Honda Powersports in East TN has no dealer markups. If I ever buy a new Honda, I will travel the 4hrs and buy from them. The 2 Honda dealers I tried locally had a 25% markup. Luckily I have a buddy in Chattanooga......so I can make a camping trip out of it :D

just a couple of things tbh
agreed everything ive read has been nothing but great about em. they are harder to find used locally near me the kawi 400 is more popular

so i guess saying markup isnt accurate... what i stated is the delivery and build fee thing. this dealer only charges for delivery fee which tbh seems dumb since they have to order the bikes annnyways.... but it seems to be the norm for new bikes?

My 2 local dealers wanted $8700 OTD for a Rally. $4500 for a XR150L. The dealer in East TN wanted $3271 for the XR150L OTD($2971 for bike...the rest was TTL fees). They have it marked on the site no dealer markups ever.

I was so pissed about it, I will only go buy parts from them if I absolutely have to. I would love to be able to support my local dealer, but I don't have the disposable funds to waste. We have a great small business owner that will do any work that I don't/can't perform......and he's reasonably priced.

That's just a way for them to make a little extra money via justification of passing the costs onto the buyer. They're gonna use some grunt who probably wasn't doing much anyways, paying him minimum wage, while they scrape an extra $500-1000 out of you.

I know what you mean lol. my dealer tried to charge me $400 for a doc drawing/printing fee when I bought my Tacoma. called em out on it and they luckily removed it but I'd guess most people end up paying it.

I could see dealers p much forcing the assembly fee though. Could easily claim it's a liability if you assemble yourself (which it certainly could be)

    Question for the dirt guys.

Are you all still running stock handlebars, or have you changed up to aftermarket?

I’m debating on trying taller risers first. Or just jumping in the deep end and going new bars and all the other stuff that goes with it.
